The Woodfinishing Book ($10 + $5 S/H = $15)

A must for history buffs, this is the book that started it all. Written in 1991, it was Dresdner's first comprehensive book covering the field of wood finishing. Though it sold very well in its time, it was deemed too technical by the publisher and was replaced eight years later by The New Wood Finishing Book, containing more pictures and less in depth explanation. If you are a fan of the deeper background information of finishing, this book is for you.

Included is the original "How to Choose a Finish" pull-out wall chart which helps you choose the right finish for a job based on its characteristics, such as odor, flammability, durability, reparability, and so on. It's a great addition to any shop wall.
