Zinsser Bulls Eye® Seal CoatTM

For years I've preached the benefits of dewaxed shellac. It is highly waterproof, dries fast, is food safe, and is the perfect sealer for raw wood, even if contaminated with grease, wax, oil, silicone, dirt or knots. I used it as a tie coat, to bond any finish to any other finish, as a sealer, under all indoor coatings, and as a beautiful, clear finish all by itself.
